I am not sure if this is the right board to post this on but I will anyway. I have been on MFP for 4 years now and it helped me lose 100 lbs. Recently I was not tracking foods and slipped (gained about 25 lbs.). I want to lose it again. I reset my goals from losing 1.5 lbs. per week to 2 lbs. per week. My calorie intake did not change. It does not change if I pick .5 lbs., 1 lbs., 1.5 lbs. or 2 lbs. per week. Is something wrong with the program? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!

    What are your stats?
    Gender
    Height
    Weight
    goal weight
    goal loss per week

If you are close to goal weight, and are male, MFP will not give you less than 1500 cals per day. So if you get the number for .5 lb per week, you will get the same for 2 lb per week. Going under 1500 is not safe for men.

It will not go below 1500 cals a day for male.

With those stats, you should be at more than 1500 with .5 lb loss. You might hit 1500 with 1.5 to 2, but you should get higher cals than that for .5. Something sounds wrong.

Re-enter them and try it again. If it still gives you 1500 at .5 lb loss, then you'll need to contact support.

No matter what loss I put in (.5 - 2 lbs.) it will not go below 1570.

1570 is an odd number to be stuck at. Sounds like a glitch. You'll have to send email to support. I don't know the email off the top of my head.

I can find it. Thank you! I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a program wide issue before I sent an email off for help.
