simple carbs and complex carbs

hi, it is okay if i get majority of my carbs from whole carbohydrates like fruits and vegetables, and only a few of my carbs from refined carbohydrates like rice/pasta?

    Nothing wrong with rice and pasta, either.

    If you are concerned with weight loss, calories are what matter. Stay under your goal calorie-wise, eat what keeps you satisfied. I have a refined carb two or three times a day, still get in all my nutrition and I have maintained my weight loss for ten years.
