Recovery

Hey there, everyone!
My name is Jules and I am a 21 year old mental health counseling graduate student from New Jersey (just as a little background). From the ages of 16-19.5/20 I struggled with anorexia nervosa, which then switched over to bulimia. I have been recovered for several months now (completely symptom-free), but due to the bulimia (primarily bingeing), my weight has shot to its highest. I am hoping to drop back down to my set-point (the weight my body naturally likes/fights to be), without engaging in ED (eating disorder) symptoms again. Anyone who has gone through a similar situation is MORE than welcome to add me as a friend/send me a message. I'm very knowledgeable about this area (from experience, research, and education), and would love any support/motivation I could get to aid me in doing this the RIGHT way this time around.
Thanks for all of your anticipated support!
-Jules :)

  • youreatopia.com is an amazing website that will give you the answers you're looking for. You can also connect with women and men who are going through similar battles. Good luck!
  • You will always be a work in progress. Those of us with eating disorders are never fully recovered. So don't let one bad day get you down, but keep working towards a goal. Speaking of that, set realistic goals so you can be proud of yourself when you meet them.

We are proud of you, and support you!
