I tend to hold a LOT of water weight. Part of it is not consuming enough water, I also have hypothyroidism and was wondering do you guys watch your sodium? Mines set around 2500mg well I topped that yesterday and wondering if I should be shooting for lower sodium to? I am working on drinking more water to but can sodium hinder weight loss or is it just holding the wate weight?

I think I hold alot of water weight too, I feel like im drinking an insane amount of water, but I am going to try to cut my sodium and try it out for a month and see if there is any difference. My sodium is the same as yours 2500 and most days im under that, but some days im over. Not sure how much you should actually have in a day though.0

Unless you have a medical reason to watch your sodium intake, 2500 mg is fine (though I thought 2300 was MFP's default)0

The World Health Organisation recommend 5g of salt a day - which is 2000mg of sodium0
