Hey guys I've got a bad tendon issue in my wrist , basically on off light soreness for several months now . I've gone easy on it and it was almost healed and then wham fell last week (thanks dog lol), landed on it , and now it's bugging me again. Problem - I can't do any pulling with that hand or loading otherwise I'm getting pain. I know logically I need to just probably take a month to let it heal , but does anyone have any suggestions for maintaining my strength training that's easy on the wrist ? I might just have to take a month off of upper body but was thinking maybe someone has experienced similar

I would follow what you said in the bolded. It's easier to rebuild your strength after time off then it is to come back from a permanent injury.

If anything, this should be discussed with your doctor because just because someone else did something in what "seems" to be a similar situation doesn't mean it's going to be okay for you to do.

You can do rows and lat pulldowns using a velcro ankle attachment near your elbow, which you would clip to a cable machine or resistance band.

Oh and if you want a diagnosis of your injury, you'll probably need to see a specialist. A general Dr will probably just tell you to rest it and take pills. :+1:

I had something similar in my right bicep and shoulder December. Nothing for it but to rest and work around it, and don't rush weight onto it.
