Got my dvds yesterday and started the lower body DVD last night - omg I was useless. I could barely do any of the moves. They promote this for all levels but I've zero strength in my arms, zero core from having 2 c-sections after HUGE babies, and no strength in my legs.
I'm very worried now that I've just wasted all my money on this program

Just got the DVDs too.
Some of the lower body moves are insane, especially for beginners. The upper body routine is easier. It's doable but it will take time and patience to get it.
Right now I'm just watching the DVDs while "working" on my computer and trying some of the moves here and there. Will attempt the full routines later.0 -
I'm dreading to see the rest of the dvds like 'sweat' & 'core' I really hope I'm able to build up and finish the program! Lord knows I need it!0

Here's my opportunity to rant.
I have a fairly deep background in mobility and flexibility, so when I saw the commercial(while stuck at the dealership getting service) I got a bit angry. Whether, pilates, yoga, gymnastics, or some other system. There's a reason why some positions are static and others dynamic. those reasons are supported with generations and centuries of experience. The program may be ok, but it's unlikely to yield the desired results a more "traditional" program will
That being said.. if you don't have a background in flexibility/mobility, even the basic positions can be hard to get into.... keep at it..0 -
I give up. Not able for 90% of each module0

Deedun, follow the modifier. I know even some of the modified ones are hard, but just skim over what you can't do. My problem is Chalean gets on my nerves lol. Look into DDP Yoga. I love it and so far, it's doable.1

I was going to make the same suggestion.
Yoga/Pilates... AKA mobility/flexibility training pays off enormously as you age.
And it lets you do goofy stuff like my profile photo...0
