Switching gyms

I went to my first day at a new gym today, and I loved the gym, and I simultaneously struggled with my regular workout. Same workout I do everyday, same level of intensity that I'm currently at, but had a lot of trouble getting through. Not hyper concerned about it, the physical atmosphere was different than my previous gym in that the temperature was cooler and there was much more moving air (fans and ac) so I struggled with my breathing, but still a bummer. My plan is to take a step back to my previous level of intensity with my HIIT until I acclimate to the new atmosphere. Anyone else experience this? How'd you handle it and move forward?

I was touring gyms to decide which one to go to when I move back to my old city and one was a hardcore lifting atmosphere complete with concrete walls and rock music, but I loved the variety of machines they had. One big problem: It was hot as hell in there. I worked up twice the sweat I normally did with my routine and had to cut it short. I decided to tour another newer gym and they had less of a hardcore atmosphere but they had AC and fans and... bonus.. A sauna for when I DO wanna sweat it out.

I guess I could probably get used to it if i had to go to the hardcore gym and I lived closer to it, but I guess in the end I just decided not to go there. Are there any other gyms as nice you can tour? or maybe have ice in your water? I know a tiny clip on fan to the equipment will do no good.

    Good luck!

@katadx well my options are relatively limited. My priority was to switch to a gym that was 24/7, as my previous gym was not, and I was trying at all costs to avoid planet fitness, which in my area was not 24/7 anyway. It was not urgent at first, but then I had an issue at my previous gym that motivated me to speed up the process. I did research and called around to a number of places. Some were too expensive and there was another contender that was most similar to my previous gym in atmosphere, but they never called me back after I reached out four times. I definitely love this new gym, but also have few options otherwise.
