Fitbit and calories...

Before I even put on my Fitbit it says I've burned 568 calories. So do I subtract that after a full day of wearing?

    no. you burn calories just well..living. thats the 568 most likely. as the day wears on, all things will adjust to sum up to your days burn at the end of the day.

    ............i'm pretty sure :P

    But @Tomk652015 is right. You got calories right away because you are using calories 24/7. What a synced FitBit does is compare your stated MFP activity level against your actual activity. Then all day long you get adjustments.
    So wear your FitBit for a time and get used to the adjustments. Many people find a FitBit is very accurate for them, others not so much. It's going to depend on your type of activity.
