Any recommendations for a "good" calorie counter that is not expensive? (under $100.00)

    MFP does a great job for me and it's FREE :) I don't know of any that are really accurate, but maybe someone else here has a good one they can recommend. Good luck!

    If you're talking about something to track your calorie expenditure for exercise, there's really no such thing outside of a lot of really expensive lab equipment. Anything and everything is an estimate. A HRM is decent enough for steady state cardio, but even then you would have to deduct your basal calories as well as account for things like high HR because out of shape, etc...

    The more fit you are, the more accurate they are to a degree, but still very much an estimation.
