Fitbit adjustment goes down?

I have a fitbit. I have MFP set to sedentary. Earlier today, I synced my fitbit at 6,400 steps and got an exercise credit of 212 calories.
Just now, I synced again to end the night at 6,650, and my exercise credit went down to 151.
What the heck? Why did I lose calories for ~200 more steps?

When you sync your Fitbit, MFP estimates how much you'll burn if you remain that active for the rest of the day. If you move more than expected by the next sync, that adjustment will go up. If you move less such as this, the adjustment goes down.0

If you have a very aggressive weekly loss rate, such as two pounds per week, you will not get a very large Fitbit adjustment because your MFP goal is very low. You may want to re-evaluate your weekly loss rate or MFP Activity Level setting.0

My weekly loss is set to one pound. I just don't get why my exercise calories from my fitbit would go down despite doing more exercise from the last time I synced.0
