Parkrun

I did my first 5k parkrun this morning. I think this is going to be addictive!
I've been running at the gym since July last year, and outdoors occassionally. I wanted to join parkrun months ago but was terrified. Ive lost 6 stone but im still overweight and run slow. Even this morning i had those new-girl butterflies and didn't sleep much last night. I looked at myself in the mirror and cringed
But now i feel silly for worrying at all. I didnt notice anyone judging me, at all. So to anyone else just thinking about it or putting it off - just do it - you'll be glad you did.
5k took me 39 minutes but who cares?
