Inaccurate nutrition facts

I've recently scanned the product Elite Instant 100% Coffee. I was shocked cause it shows that 1 tea spoon contains 12g proteins. But then it only has 5 calories. So I checked other sources and none of them shows that it has 12g protein. Does this mean this app is inaccurate? And I have to constantly check other sources each meal just to be sure?

    YES

    Constantly?
    No.
The program is quite good at caching previously used entries.
Plus if you modify or save an entry as your own and you use the correct search terms it will pop back up first.

However if you are wondering whether you should check an entry the first time you use it?
    Truthfully?
Probably yes, if you value accuracy.

The food database is as accurate as the users who enter the foods into it-which is to say not at all. If it isn't verified you can update the incorrect information, or create the correct entry if there is t one.
