this question is similar to one that I just read regarding rest days. My question is, if I work out lifting weights on Monday, is Wednesday too soon to work the same muscle groups? Or should I give it more time, and work the same muscles on Thursday instead?

Wednesday is fine. In general, beginners do well on full body programs, most of which you do 3x/wk or every other day.0

thank you everyone. i have arthritis and can't do too much with my lower body, but my upper body seems to tolerate weight lifting, so i am hoping to get a Mo-We-Fr routine.1
