Hi! I'm Valerie. I live in a tiny town of 150 people-yes, that's correct, 150. I am a private music teacher, and music director for a summer theatre in my region.

I live with fibromyalgia, arthritis, depression, and anxiety disorder. I say I live with them, simply because I decided that to say I suffer from them is to give in to them. I have my bad days, but for the most part I'm surviving pretty well. I just recently started a new medication that caused me to gain about 25 pounds. I am working on losing that by walking every night and cutting out certain empty calorie foods. So far so good! But it's only been one day
