I am not over 350, but was 298 when I joined in 2012 and 345 at my highest. I am diabetic, recently diagnosed with PCOS and am currently at 276. Feel free to add me. I log daily and love to see others succeed too!

Hi At my highest I was 372lbs, I stopped working away from home (health issues) eating a poor diet, I moved to a desk job sat down all day but eating a better diet (not perfect but home cooked meals) I dropped 42lbs without trying, i am now weight managment plan with Doctor / NHS backing and struggling to lose any, 35lbs in 2 years. I have just bought a rowing machine to boost my loss ? its not an easy journey but can be done.

I was somewhere around 340ish at my peak. Now I'm nearing on 180lbs. I want you to know that it is not just possible, but that you can do it too. You have a long journey ahead of you. You will find yourself digging deep to find the willpower, but if you keep digging, you will find it. Remember that while as awesome as support is (And the support on this website is wonderful!) it ultimately will always come down to you and your decisions.

You've got this OP. The first few steps are always the hardest!

When the mfp weight projector says that you should be "this" weight in 5 weeks but you are not and yet you continued to eat the same, then you probably have lymphedema. That is a fibroid type of fat that will not reduce with dieting. Usually, one will see one limb larger than the other but not always. This is not regular edema or fat.

Doctors cannot believe that dieting does not work, but it does not work very well for lymphedema.
I weigh 250 lbs but am only 26% fat.

the connection between obesity and lymph-edema and vise versa.
excess fat remains after fluid reduction...
lymphedema liposuction is different than regular liposuction.
    plus the lymphedema comes back

I am available for anybody that needs to talk about lymphedema.

I am doing keto, leeches, magnets, and ozone. It is working but very slowly.
The lymph glands where your body attaches to its limbs become clogged.
You have to open them up.
