This is why I get frustrated. Weights for week
Monday- 10 11.0
Wednesday- 10 9.6
Today - 10 11.6

I know two pound increase isn't fat and probably water retention due to starting exercise again but how am I supposed to see if I'm on correct calorie intake when this happens. I know people will say only weigh once a week but if that day is abnormally low or abnormally high, that won't help.

I have also taken measurements but as I've not got much to lose- probably only a few inches in each are- pulling a bit looser or tighter will make that hard to monitor too.

I weigh every day for exactly that reason. It is impossible to understand the numbers unless they are monitored (taken) frequently. If you only weigh weekly, how do you know if the big jump is genuine or a blip?

You are going to find it harder to lose those last few pounds at your weight. I would be more inclined to use body fat calipers and concentrate on that. I would also be inclined to think that, this close to goal, if you're still not happy with how you're looking, perhaps it's time to look at a different workout? No idea what you're doing now, so it's hard to say, of course, so I hope that isn't out of line :-)

This is where I've started really. Been going up and down a few pounds for years. Just get frustrated and give up as I don't seem to lose.

Calipers is a good idea but I here they are also hard to get accurate results.

More accurate than scales which also weigh whatever's in your gut.

I can empathize on how frustrating it must be! Do you use any kind of activity tracker to guage what you're really burning?

Yes - I use a Body media fit. I've tried different deficits without much success. I'm now on 750 a day. I've also tried a fitbit which gives me a burn of about 200 ish less each day.

I have just started Body Revolution again - but running instead of doing her cardio workout. I'm happy to be patient - if only I knew what I was doing was right.

Give yourself fitness goals. They will be more motivating than weight goals since the scale obviously moves all over the place.

And you've been here a while, so I would suggest that you self evalaute what you have learned and think about what your successes and failures are and adjust based on that.

    May I suggest: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/10067-eat-train-progress-
