Will it ever happen for me?

So, here I am 2 weeks after I moved back in with my parents. I've stopped being in control of what I eat at meals and I had to give up my gym membership at the best gym I've ever been to. I've gone from strictly eating 1600 cals or less and doing 6 exercise classes a week incl strength training, to not tracking and walking to work being my only exercise.

The worst bit is that I have no motivation to start up again, even though I was really enjoying the gym. Why? Because my weight never really changed. It never went down in over 6months of hard work and it hasn't gone up since I stopped.

Am I going to be stuck like this forever or am I just being lazy?

You're being lazy and your finding excuses to use -in case you get fat.
Just because your not in charge of what's for dinner doesnt mean you cant make your own dinner.
There's also a thing called portion control. If you know the food on the table is high in calories = eat less of that!
And just because you cant go to the gym, doesnt me you can jog outside.
    Adapt and overcome!

Sure, you may not have gained a pound now, but how's your body fat percentage? Which part of your weight is muscle, and which part is fats?

I'm not trying to be a troll. Really! I'm just saying: You're a smart person that already know what the problem is, why not find ways to solve or work around it?

This is my point-I don't know if I do know what the problem is! Even after those 6 months my BF% was ridiculously high :( And I didn't lose any inches. ANYWHERE.

It's likely that you were under estimating your calorie intake, and over estimating your calorie burn.

I don't want to be one of the 'know it alls' on here who refuses to take advice...But I didn't eat back my exercise cals (used TDEE -20% instead) and weighed all my food before I cooked it etc. This is why I have lost control over my food at home...Can't weigh out ingredients for 1/4 of a meal I haven't cooked!

Did you take the time to make sure your TDEE estimate was correct by eating at TDEE for 2-3 weeks and making sure your weight did not change?
