Anyone else in this boat. Getting older and carting around more weight is just hard. I had chronic back pain for several years thus the weight gain. Been walking , riding and 1220 calories a day. High protein. Seeing great results for the first time in years. 11 pounds in 2 weeks. I'm sure a lot was water.

I've been reading about glucose index meal plan (someone call it a diet?). I'm prediabetes and I could use some low blood sugar. New potatoes, quinoa, and protein-packed pancakes are new carbs. I have a vegetable and a salad every meal.
Been circuit training (arm weights), riding a bike, and walking. You got to build up that intensity (heart rate).0 -
I'm finally losing lost 17 now. Have had lots of plateaus though. My advice just hang in there but don't be afraid to have off days, otherwise it just feels like a diet and diets have never worked for me. This pushed me to go for a walk every day so I can still have a snack at night, I highly recommend the weight watchers giant chocolate fudge Sycles0
