I was on a low carb diet before and did nothing except a jillian michaels workouts (and then sat around and played all day with my baby girl) and i steadily lost 10 lbs a month. Then an old knee injury resurfaced after 8 years and I had to have surgery to fix it, which caused me to stop working out and eventually gained that weight back. Then i got pregnant again and had my new baby girl in February. I'm trying to lose the weight again and I am doing low carb like before.. But the first time I lost weight, I ate low carb every meal, and then most nights would drink diet coke and vodka drinks and also snack on chips and queso or smores or something amd would still lose weight.. I was also taking AM & PM + Tone supplements from Complete Nutrition. I was losing 10lbs/month and doing really good. Now I'm not taking any supplements, but walking 12000-15000 steps/day at a brisk pace and doing low carb (eating 1200-1300 calories/day). I know I'm not doing a strict workout like the Ripped in 30 anymore, but I am up walking most of the day everyday (a lot of times with a 15lb baby strapped to me) rather than just doing the workout then sitting around the rest of the day. So why am I not losing as much? I still drink probably 3 nights a week, but I make myself not pig out like I did before so I rarely eat when I drink, and most of the time I allot room in my daily calories for drinking.. I am eating much less and moving much more, but not seeing the results I expected (as in I have barely lost anything in the month I've been doing low carb/low calorie). Should I invest in more supplements? Could they have really given me an extra boost in the losing weight process? I know drinking doest help at all, but honestly the mornings after I drink is when I finally see a drop in weight..
