It's linear!

I just thought this was odd and funny, especially with the standard line about weight loss.
Each morning I weigh as many of us do. Every morning this week I have been down by .2 pounds.
My loss has become linear.
I really am not expecting this to last thru the weekend.

Be very very weary ... your body is conspiring with your scale to completely mind *kitten* you in the near future lol
Well done btw8 -
Oh no! Don't tell me that.2

Mine does it regularly :P1

Mine has the potential to be linear for several days, then a random jump up, then crash back down without good reason. Don't panic if it happens that way. Enjoy your excellent 0.2 drop daily.1

Sometimes mine is linear too, but more often that not I'm up before I'm down. Enjoy it but don't expect it is a safe approach lol

Any 2 points on your chart make a line. Consecutive days of losing 0.4 lb are more satisfying than consecutive days of losing 0.2 lb.0

I thought otherwise. Yesterday I weighed 232, and today I weighed same as my last recorded weigh in at 226.2.0

Safe approach? If I did it for 7 days it would be 1.4 lbs a week. Within a reasonable guideline.JeromeBarry1 wrote: »Any 2 points on your chart make a line. Consecutive days of losing 0.4 lb are more satisfying than consecutive days of losing 0.2 lb.
I only log 1 lb losses anyway (except when it passes a 0, which I only have one more of.
Anyway I had a steak and 2 G&Ts tonight, so I don't expect it tomorrow.

I think they meant it was safest not to expect your weight loss to continue to be linear. Not that you're losing weight at an unsafe rate.

The streak is over. Same number two days in a row. Damn that second G&T.1

That's what I meant, and yes, I realize you said you didn't expect it lol

Mine was pretty linear as well. The scale went down about 3 ounces each morning, except right before my period. It went up 2-4 at that time, and stayed up until the last day then I'd be down that amount plus 1Lb. Then it would be 3 ounces down a day after that, until ovulation.0
