There's just a lot more people focused on losing vs gaining so you'll see most of the posts in the food and nutrition sub section will be geared toward losing weight. The gaining weight and body building sub section has lots of helpful info for weight gain. I'm not sure specifically what you need help with (other than gaining) but the following thread has some great info:

Weight management is about calories- losing, maintaining or gaining. To gain weight you need to consume more calories than you would consume to maintain your current weight. Figure out the calories needed for the weight you want to be and eat that amount.
