Hi switching from WW as I found it very restricting and with increased exercise I 've been getting hungry. I'm 1.65,69 kg,I have an active job and do strength training 3 x a week and have just started c25k I got a treadmill and new to running (3x a week too). For my info it's giving me 1340 calories a day is this too low? I 've calculated my TDEE and it's 1850

Did you set your weight loss goal to 2 lb/week?

Thats about 500 down which is ok for the weight loss, but you probably need to eat back all your excersize calories, especially as you are hungry. You need to fuel excersize and be sure to rest to rebuild strength.

That's a 500 calorie a day deficit, so one pound loss (half kg or so) per week - but if you are doing all that exercise, I'd guess your TDEE is higher than 1850. How did you get 1850?

I'm wondering if you used the system to recomend your calorie allocation. Using this method you set your regular activity level, yours would be active and log extra exercise. I see you are not over a good weight range or not by much so setting your loss to .5 of a kg per week, just over the lb would probably be better. Then when you do your strength training, c25k and your treadmill times, log this extra effort which will give you extra calories for the day. Some on here eat back all, others half or a fraction of these calories which suits you best.

There are plenty of other ex WW members on here.

I don't think I taken into account I 've been doing exercise 6 days a week plus aim for 10.000 steps with Fitbit with that my Tdee comes as 2135.

I 've got 2135 now never used mfp before but 1300 calories seems so low maybe I'll up it to 1600 and see how I get on.
