I'm 5ft5 and my happy weight is 130 - 133lbs2

I'm 5'7", and my first goal was 180, then I changed it to 165 (which is lower than my lowest adult weight). Now, I'm thinking that my ultimate goal might be more like 155 and I can't imagine going lower than that, but we'll see when I get there :P.4

5'6" and 165 but leanish
Could probably go to 150 and it would still be legit. I like to look thicc lol15 -
Right now I'm at my high end of 145. I prefer to be around 134-136. At my current weight just losing 3 pounds makes a big difference at least to me lol.0

I'm 5'6". I feel like I'm at a healthy weight now at 158, but I can't fit into my favorite pants. I want to get down to 145 in hopes they will fit again (they button, but uncomfortably). I was 140 a few years ago, and that felt almost too thin. I was very bony and can't imagine weighing the standard recommended 130. I think muscle mass has more to do with health and size than weight.1

I'm slightly taller at 5'7". My normal, comfortable weight is 123. I can go up to 135 & still look good & fit into my clothing, but when I run upstairs, I get a bit winded & feel it in my knees & ankles. I've rarely had extra weight on me, because I don't feel good. I've got 20-lbs to lose after foot surgery & 2-yrs of non-stop traveling. I'm getting there.0

I'm 5'7" and feel best in the 145-155 range with some muscle showing. I'm currently 160-162.0

I'm 5'5" and 20 lbs away from 149 which is Normal BMI and a size 10. I haven't been 149 for 22 years and even then, I think I managed to stay at that weight for about a day!
But since I plan to weigh and count and log into maintenance, I'm going to keep at a 1/4 lb a week deficit to see if under 140 is possible and maintainable. I'm almost 59 so not going for anything lower than that. My BF% will still be on the high side, so the goal will be to reduce it to 30% by lifting heavier. That will probably take until I'm 60!2 -
5'6 146, I want to lose 10 pounds as well as add muscle. I wouldn't feel comfortable in a bath suit ATM, but I'm getting there!!1

5'6" and my maintenance range is 125lbs-130lbs.0

I'm 5'6" and 155 currently, but a lot of that is fat and not necessarily muscle. I'm looking at 140 or so, and then I might lose another 10 if I feel like I'm not at a healthy weight.1

This is all good to know. I'm 5'6" and right now me goal weight is 180. I'm far from that so I have lots of time to readjust it.1

Im 5 foot 6 and a half. My ideal weight is between 62 and 65 kg. Its a size 8 and I'm on the lean side. I'm currently about 73 kg so around 10 kg to go and then maintenance. Will be alot more careful of not letting my weight get away from me. Must say that even though I'm dieting and exercising I'm enjoying it and how my body is changing and my new found energy as well.1

I'm 5'6" and I'm happy at 125-135. Currently a bit underweight at 122, but now that I'm past my marathon and not training for anything, I'll probably put on a few pounds. I'm fine with that.2

You look fantastic.
I don't have a number goal. I'd be happy at 150 if my body composition fit it. Chances are I will need to get to my mid 130s before my stomach fat is somewhat ok. I have a lot of stretched skin in that area that is lined with fat and I'd like to burn off the fat enough that the skin is not as stretched. I don't care about visible abs, just lumpy skin rolls.1 -
at 5'7" my goal is 155lb.the lowest I've ever been is 206 and people already said if I lost another 60 I'd been nothing but bones lol0

I am 5'5.5", and my goal weight is 145. Right now I'm not unhappy at 165, but would to be in the healthy BMI range. I suppose if I get to 152 (top of normal BMI), I might stop there.2
-
FWIW, I'm 5'7" and my maintenance range is 128-133.0

I'm 5-7 and 150. My goal is 135 and hopefully that gets me in the range of 24% bf.1

5'6 females: what do you consider to be a healthy weight?
Anywhere within my normal BMI range.
and what is your personal goal weight?
The lower half of my normal BMI range.3 -
I'm just under 5'7" and I'm currently about 128lbs. I would be fine at this weight with a lower bodyfat. I'm somewhere around 25%.0

I'm 5'5 and aiming for 148lbs which would at least put me in a healthy range at which point I can assess what would be a good goal weight. I've always thought 130 would be ideal. In the end its not the scale number I'm after just a much healthier lifestyle and a strong healthy body.
Have you been to mybodygallery.com ? It's very interesting to see the variation in body shapes. Sadly, I realized what I consider thin is actually underweight.

I get the feeling that you and I are a lot alike. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be under 155 at 5'7. I got down to 168 once, and was a size 10, 155 would probably be an 8. I see these other women with goal weights 25-30 pounds under mine and it sorta blows my mind that it's even possible to be that small!1 -
I'm 5'6 and my goal weight is 150. I was that weight when I graduated HS. I am 42 now and weigh 175 down from 256.2

Am 5'5.
In my 20's and before marriage & giving birth, I was happy at 122.
In my 30's, working full time, with 2 little kiddos, I devolved to 140.
Weight continued to climb in my 40's and 50's. My number was around 153.
Well am now in my 60's and am in the 190's.
Am setting incremental goals: first to get to 180, then 160, then 150. Since it has been many years since being 150, I want to enjoy that goal. Then push for the 140s.
Am retired now, an empty-nester and so have more time to focus on myself!5 -
I'm 165 right now with a goal of 130. And 5'6/5'7. Healthy weight is normal BMI for me.0
-
5'6", feel best around 120-123. Currently 127, took a year to lose 3lb from 130. Urgh.0

60 kgs0

I think once you're in a healthy range you should probably go more by body composition than a scale weight. As you can see they're all over the place. I'm perfectly comfortable being 160 but others at the same height would probably cringe lol. 25%bf is where I'm comfortable3
-
5'5" and currently 147. I look best 130-135. I have too much fat currently.0
