Definitely check him out. Also the lady who said processed foods aren't bad is wrong. Yes you can still lose weight if you eat processed foods along as you stay in calorie deficit, this doesn't mean you should lol. As far as I'm concerned you should try to eat a clean diet if you can and avoid foods laden with chemicals and preservatives etc. If there is a huge list of ingredients on the packet that you don't understand or recognise then it probably isn't going to be good for you!! This is not rocket science! be kind to your body and it will thank you for it. Eat Clean and train hard!!
what is eating and clean and why is processed food bad? some processed foods include bread, milk, yogurt, ice cream, pasta, alcohol, etc so are you telling me you dont consume any of those things? even if you make those things yourself its still being processed. all foods have chemicals even fresh fruit.if there is a huge list and you dont understand or recognize something how is that bad? https://www.theguardian.com/science/blog/2014/may/19/manmade-natural-tasty-toxic-chemicals
http://io9.gizmodo.com/what-if-natural-products-came-with-a-list-of-ingredient-1503320184 tell me if you know or recognize any of the ingredients in these foods.some of the fruits and veggies you may eat have toxic chemicals in them only thing is that they are in such low doses that the human body can usually break them down.
pears have low doses of formaldehyde.potatoes contain solanin, cucumbers contain cucurbitacin E,apple seeds have amygdalin.so does that mean you avoid those foods too? they have chemical.any meds you take have chemical, dont even get me started with vaccines having chemicals.

Yawn.......i literally have no time to get into a long winded debate about this. At no point did i say i never consumed processed food but that that Amanda should merely 'try' to eat clean if she can. I stand by this advice that in my opinion dosent need to be torn to shreds lol. I am off to eat my Sunday dinner of braised steak with steamed cauliflower that i tried to wash most of the pesticides off lol.
Amanda i wish you all the success with your MFP journey and hope you like Joe Wicks too!2 -

I peeked at his videos and I'm adding it to some of my faves! Thank you!1 -
Tons of videos out there, and any can be done HIIT style if you use the higher intensity. Find a channel you like and go for it.
But also keep in mind (based on your original post) that especially for females, it's very hard to gain muscle while losing weight. For the most part the best most can do is maintain the muscle they have while slowing getting rid of fat. All it really takes is a calorie deficit, and the exercise part is more for the health and fitness part of the picture. You can eat virtually whatever you want that stays within your calorie goals.
Also keep in mind that nursing increases your calorie needs, and this seems to vary somewhat. The calorie changes in nursing vs not, along with watching your nutrition during the weight loss are things to consider if using any online calculators such as MFP.
As long as you get your proper nutrition, you don't really have to worry about food types. It's been proven you can lose weight on "junk" food just as quickly as any other food. It's all about calorie deficit.2 -

If you don't have a lot of time, you can always do YouTube or if you have amazon on your TV there are a lot of fitness on there. I do Zoe Rodriguez's programs from zbody.com, combo of weights and HIIT. I'm not a fan of cardio, so her program works great for me, HIIT three times a week. I bought her whole program for a total of maybe 40 bucks, I can't remember it was on sale. They are ebooks so I literally put on my Tivo and watch something I've recorded while I do the workouts in my living room. Every 4 weeks, you change workouts. It's challenging, I just bumped up yesterday and did leg/booty and they were just totally new exercises. I love it, I get bored pretty easily so I like the changing. Plus she has her own facebook group, where she answers questions and encourages everyone. I really like it. I see the most changes in my body with lifting weights and minimal cardio. I used to do cardio all the time, and I hated it. Different things work for different people. On my rest days I do yoga which has also added a total different element.0

Also beachbody now has a web version of things that you can subscribe too if you don't want to commit and buy any one program, I don't know the cost, but that might be an option, I love beachbody I have several (Slim in 6, P90x, P90, Yoga Booty Ballet) but they can be costly maybe subscribe and try some different ones out before committing to one particular program.1

Thanks, I'm all about the free stuff. YouTube has provided me with some good stuff. I like to incorporate weights because I don't want to just be a cardio bunny. I do cardio to get some weight loss, but weights will help me get muscle tone. I'll keep looking.0

I you like to just have formats/plans to follow rather than only videos, try the DareBee site. They have a bunch of different workout plans that you can do, and over 100 are HIIT/interval training ones. Many of the moves they include in the plans have a video of the exercise to show you the proper form, so you can see what you should be doing if you don't know the move. I sometime prefer workouts where I just know the plan and then can do them at my own pace (often faster than some of the beginner videos that are out there, but not as fast as the advanced).1

I will for sure look into that, thank you!0 -
30 day shred is a good program to get you going and teach you some moves if that is what you are looking for. Otherwise head over to Pinterest or You Tube and search for at home workouts.1

fitness blender does have weight workouts, as for weight loss that comes down to a deficit and to get muscle "tone" you lose fat over your muscles you have now to get that toned look. if you are wanting to gain muscle you need to recomp or look into a bulk, both will take time since you are female. you may get some newbie gains now if new or returning to lifting but it wont be a lot and it will slack off over time.1
