~45lbs overweight and trying ...

Hi all!
This is my story so far. I had always been close to overweight on the BMI scale, but 5 years ago I went into a severe depression, which I treated with food. As a result, I got 55 lbs overweight.
I had been making halfhearted attempts at losing weight for over two years now. A couple of months ago I started logging what I eat (on mvp) and eating healthy. But giving up comfort foods hasn't been easy, and the temptation to stress-eat is always there. But it's been worth it, and I've lost 10 pounds.
My motivation to lose weight is to run a marathon, which I used to be able to do, before I went down this weight spiral.
Anyway, wanted to say hello to the community here!

feel free to add me
Running was my main form of cardio when i lost my weight (but interval running, not static pace), if you could run marathons previously I imagine it will be pretty quick for you to get your running stride back.
as for your comfort foods, for me i just found that the less I eat, the easier it is to avoid. I also don't buy snacks, so when i'm in my house and looking for junk food, there is no risk of temptation.0
