Vegetarian anyone?

I had VSG weight loss surgery four years ago and only lost 24 lbs. I have extremely high cholesterol and want to cut the creamer from my coffee and the meat out of my diet. ANY suggestions? I'm not sure what I'm doing but I can't stand beans. They gross me out. Any other way to get protein in? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You can start with subs like Gardein, field roast, and the like. I'm vegan and have an open journal for friends, feel free to add me.0

There's a really active vegetarian/vegan group here that would probably have some good recipe suggestions for you: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/45-happy-herbivores0
