How to Gain Weight when You are Hyperthyroid

How do you gain weight when you have hyperthyroidism? My hair is thinning too, and my left eye is slightly protruding. :( What did you do to battle this disease? It is like eating away my muscles. My mood swings are terrible.
I need help.

    this ,see an endocrinologist and get on the right meds and then go from there
