A Hardcore 2 Months?

So, me and a friend have about two months to go, before a music festival, that we're incredibly hyped-up to go to. It's a three-day event with all the fixings, including several dance floors, a river, and a camping section; and we plan to take full advantage of it.However, we'd also like to look good, in doing so.

Now, we're pretty average guys--or so we like to think-- we hit the gym pretty often(every other day for me, every day for him; I'm about to join him this week), and decently hard. He's never had a problem with his figure, but I have. At one time, I weighed over 265 pounds, at both a young age, and 5'7" height. Now, I weigh around 180; a change that occured in the span of a year. However, I'm still not very complacent with my form. I still have a gut, quite the... ahem, buttocks, and thighs. My upper body however--yes, I come from the land arm-day-- is quite satisfactory, for me. Thusly, I really want to slim down my abdominal region, and my legs, as much as possible. To note, I do know that dieting, with exercise, is more effective at slimming; dieting I don't have much trouble with.

So, we're looking for a regime, ideas, or plans, that we can really crack down on, for the next two months, in preparation of the festival. Neither one of us are afraid of some downright hard work, soreness, or the time that the workouts take; so if you have any ideas, feel free to shoot them at me. We have a gym with all the fixings, to use nearly every day, and extensive areas around us, to workout, so we're fairly open.

And, on a subjective note, how do you get rid of stretch marks, and the like? Ever since my far heftier period, I have not seemed to loose them. And, additionally, anything to help firm/tighten skin? Another downside from the rapid downsizing(ha, see what I did there), I underwent.

Thank you, in advance. ^w^

Edit: I'm not expecting miracles here. I understand rates of change, and I don't expect to be a perfectly fit being, in just two months. That being said, I do want to make these two months into as much as they can be; and I have the means with which to do so.

Choose a beginners programme from the list here.

Stick to one, and eat at a small deficit, 250 cals a day, if you still want to lose a bit of weight.

Unfortunately stretch marks are permanent, but will fade over time. Your skin too will improve over time but not in 2 months.

If you have incredibly pale skin adding a little colour to it, and keeping your skin well moisturised will improve the look of it.

    Cheers, h.

You cannot lose stretchmarks if they are past their initial very red stage, unless you are interested in cosmetic surgery. Loose skin might or might not improve with time, depending on your age and genetics. It will not happen in a few weeks though

Definitely eat in a deficit--a pound a week is likely doable right now--while lifting weights. @middlehaitch gave you an excellent link for finding a good program. Diet is really what will help you lose that fat (as you already know) but smart training will help you shape your body/become more aesthetic/whatever you want to call it.

Don't worry about stretchmarks. They are extremely common and will fade somewhat with time. You can't speed up skin shrinking. That just takes time.
