I am a lot more weight stable since I started consuming more fluids. Granted, I pee every 45 minutes now, but I haven't had a massive water based scale fluctuation in months. It used to get pretty bad; I've had water and sodium induced weight shifts as high as 15 lbs. in a week before.1

Best time to weigh is first thing in the morning, after going to the bathroom. Water weighs 1 gram per milliliter whether it's in a bottle or in your belly.1
