HRM Spikes While Running TypeII Diabetics

I run/jog ~6km 3 times a week, xc ski in the winter, snow shoe etc.
Sometimes I get a spike on my HRM that I notice on my Garmin 230 while I'm running, usually associated with a spasm in my throat, it's transient, just a rrrrr and that's it. When I upload my run to Garmin Connect I can see the spike on my HR trace.
I live with panic disorder as well, so I notice when my thinking runs circles I get the same kind of spike and can associated what I see on the trace with where I was in the run.
Anyone live with this stuff too?
Thanks,
