I saw another poster mention she was having 1300 calories on a lean to clean bulk, I Googled but I didn't find info. Anyone else bulking on cut calories?

No one is bulking on cut calories.

As bulking is purposefully taking in a surplus of calories.

That's my understanding of a bulk but the 1300 calories through me off. I can't imagine anyone other than a toddler being able to put on lean mass with those cals

Maybe she meant to say re-comp and she is cutting fat while maintaining the mass she has... that makes more sense.

I just ran a lean bulk... so a small surplus over a longer period of time, limiting fat gains (but still gained some fat). I was eating above maintenance to gain weight/mass/size so definitely not on cutting calories.
