Hi all
I am trying to eat more protein, but I am a vegetarian (pescetarian really, but i only eat fish maybe 1-2 a month)
I also do not eat dairy or wheat.
Right now i'm currently eating like 50-60g of protein a day but I am working out a LOT (5-6 days a week) and I'd like to double that.
Right now I get my protein from:
Quinoa
Quest bars
Protein powders (sun warrior)
Nut Butters
Vegetables
Salmon
Legumes
Is there any vege/pescetarians with open diaries I can look at?
Thanks!

We are already friends... but I tend to take these new whey protein syrups that are found in walmart. They have 42 grams of protein in 3.8 ozs with 180 cals. It's like syrup and I like the taste. They are not that expensive either. I also take the snicker marathon bars (also found in walmart). They have 20 grams of protein with all the essential vitamins and minerals. The only draw back is that it has about 290 cals compared to the quest bars with about 170 cals. But I don't really watch my calorie intake though just try to get the most nutrients out of em :-)0

yes that is why i friended you!
i just made the switch away from whey protein because it makes me queasy each time and so far sun warrior isnt upsetting my tummy. i'm not watching my calorie intake so much anymore either so maybe ill check out those other bars thanks!0 -
Not sure how much help I'll be to you, but my diary is open & I'm always looking for more friends with similar diets/lifestyles! I don't work out (yes, I should), I get about 60 grams of protein a day (no shakes), and I'm trying to cut dairy and wheat/gluten right now. I eat minimal fish also.0
