Are condiments accounted for?

When I look up a food such as a chicken sandwich or burger, are things such as a tomato slice, lettuce, mayo, mustard...etc accounted for in the calorie total for that food?

If it's just a generic database entry for a chicken sandwich or a burger, you have no way of knowing *what* someone was thinking of when they created it. They could have included condiments, they could have skipped them. It would be better to log ingredients you're actually eating.1

If it's something you're making log each ingredient separately. If it's from a restaurant, it should include all items they list on the menu.2
