My unusual workout...anime dances

So I'm a stay at home mom and lifetime nerd. I also am recovering from agoraphobia, a.k.a. I used to be a shut in. I dont like working out in public places because I have ptsd and anxiety disorder. So I came up with something I can stick to. I love anime and japanese culture, so I made an hour long playlist of Japanese dances to use as a workout. Its not crossfit or anything but it gets my heart rate up and I sweat like crazy. I figured if I use something I like it would motivate me to move more. Then I can work on finding more workouts to add in the future. Right now I dont have a way to track it with my Gear S since dance isnt an exercise option, but it helps with my step count. Also I'm looking for friends so add me!

    Hello have you watched jaxblade on youtube he combines anime and exercise you should check him out his pretty cool he also uses mfp.

    If you are working up a sweat you can use an entry like "Zumba".

    I suggest you start slow and end slow including stretches to keep yourself limber and avoid injury.

    Awesome. I think you just invented the next home workout craze. You said you're agrophobic? Well that's not going to bother you much anymore after you can afford that private island you've always wanted. (PST... buy me one too.)
