Vegan & Vegetarian

I have been eating mostly raw foods lately and I have been going over my sugar with eating fruits. I am a little bit nervous as this is a new lifestyle change for me. Should I just eat what I want fruit and veggie wise and not worry about what MFP says for my stats at the end of the day?

Thanks

I go over my sugar from the amount of fruit I eat. Don't worry about it. Nobody got fat from eating fruits :)

:) lol, true! Thanks so much. I've totally done a 360 with my eating habits and it's a lot to take in all at once.

I've also had a hard time being ok with higher amounts of sugar-some days I'm hitting over 100! But, it's coming mostly from fruit (besides raw honey once in a while and a bit of brown sugar in my oatmeal occasionally), so I'm trying to not let it bother me (too much lol).

I'm sure it's mostly ADDED sugar you have to worry about, rather than naturally occuring sugar. But MFP doesn't differentiate between the two. So hard to stay under considering just a banana is so high in sugar. I got bored of always seeing the sugar total being red so I removed that column (so now I just see cals, carbs, protein, fat and fiber)! lol

As long as you don't have diabetes, eat as much fruit as you want. I am always over on sugar from fruits!
