1200 every day for a week. 15 mile bike ride. 2x 5mile walks and 2x 30 min tai bo workouts and not dropped a pound. Disheartening is an understatement

    I never lose weight in a week, especially not the first week. For some reason my body likes to hold onto it for a while and drop a few lbs at once. It usually averages to about 1lb a week.

    Give it more time, you may even see the scale go up a bit at first if the exercise is new you may be holding onto water for muscle repair. Drink lots of water!

    I'm kind of the same way. My body seems to hang on to weight like my boss does with bonuses. Given up, but grudgingly, not when I wanted it, and never as much as I hoped.

    I'm not bitter...
