All of those mentioned are to supplement what you are missing from your diet.

If you're hitting the required amount of whatever through the foods you eat then there's no need to supplement.

There are only three macros: protein, fat, and carbs. MFP tracks and sets a default for all three.

If you eat a varied diet the rest of the vitamins and minerals you need may very well already be in your diet. Here's a primer.

Whey protein, protein powder, and BCAA are not specifically required. See above.

I need to be tested annually if I have any deficiencies because I have known absorption issues, and I take vitamins to counteract those deficiencies. But it will be different for everyone.

If you live in the northern hemisphere you will be deficient in vitamin D.

I urge women of childbearing age to take Folic Acid (which also happens to be in pregnancy vitamins)

Protein powders become a thing because people are trying to hit a protein goal. Chicken breast does the same thing.

If your cholesterol is high you may want to stick with the fish oil. Or increase fish to twice a week.

The only vitamin I take is D because the doctor told me I was low. If you have any big concerns ask your doctor.
