Lift weights
Eat 1800 calories A day0 -
Eating at a surplus IS required. That may be 1800 calories a day, OR MORE. If you do significant aerobic activity, it may be considerably more. Some folks have had success by strictly limiting their aerobic activity during their efforts to gain weight, because of this. By doing resistance training (weightlifting), you'll help to assure that most of the weight gained is muscle and not fat. Others will consume a form of whey protein or protein snack in between meals to supplement their regular meal intake. Stick with it. Have reasonable goals, like 2 lbs. a month and you should do well. Good luck!0
