From 7% Body Fat to 210lbs and Back Again (My Success Story)

Back in 2012, I used to live on MFP. I tracked every ounce of food I ate. I was at the peak of my powers, with only 7 percent body fat at 160lbs.


Then life hit -- work, injuries and the like. I ballooned to as high as 210 lbs in 2016.

Dropped down to 185lbs on Jan 1, 2017. Decided that day that I would get back to where I was.
4 1/2 months later, I'm back down to 161.


Still have a long way to go, but I expect to be back where I was by the end of the summer. Don't let anyone let you believe you can't achieve the same thing twice.

Great job! Your hard work is definitely showing. Keep it up!

I had my second child in 2014 and spent about 12 months tracking in MFP religiously getting back to PRE-PREBABY weight of 145ish - a weight I hadn't been at since 2010. In 2016, I got pregnant again and after my maternity leave, still sat at over 200lbs. I returned to work in January and after purchasing THE LARGEST SIZE WORK SLACKS I'VE EVER WORN in my entire adult life, I decided things had to change.
I decided March 1 was THE day. Since March 1, I've lost nearly 30lbs with a goal to lose an additional 20 by September. I'm on here all day every day.
Things aren't always as easy second time 'round.. but you got this.
