New member-anything I need to know?

Hello. I just started this program. I am pretty active because I am a dancer who dances several nights of the week. I started this program because I wanted to not gain weight. Anything I need to know? :)

    welcome!

    1. buy a food scale
    2. set up a profile with a goal of maintaining weight. MFP will give u a daily allowance so u dont need to figure it out yourself.
    3. only eat back half of the calories u burned at the most by exercising/dancing coz those numbers r too optimistic in MFP
    4. LOG everything u eat consistently
    5. google search for recipes if needed
    6. nothing is perfect so just weight yourself regularly n make adjustments accordingly

    Read the "Most Helpful Posts" section of the "General Diet and Weight Loss" category, then - if you still have questions - follow it up with the "Most Helpful Posts" section of other categories you're interested in. There's gold in those posts.
