To the people who harp on diet foods because they dnt taste good let me tell u "You ain't eating this *kitten* for it to taste good. You're eating because u want the results that it's going to give on the way u look. That is the main purpose of dieting
4 my own diet, aims to get a breakdown of 50 percent protein, 40 percent carbohydrates, and 10 percent fat. Just enough to get what it needs. On some meals, i eats all carbohydrates or allprotein, because why the hell not?

The secret to getting big is eating in a calorie surplus with adequate protein while following a progressive lifting routine.
Your macro split is jacked by the way. There is absolutely zero reason to eat that much protein and that little fat. Holy cow. Whoever told you to do that should stop giving out advice.22 -
I wouldn't think people looking to get big would be eating diet foods?13

Protip #1 - Making blind assumptions is often a bad idea. Especially when you know absolutely nothing about the person you're speaking to.

Protip #2 - Some people succeed in spite of what they do, not because of what they do.15

Okay, serious moment here:
Do you know the role of dietary fat within the body?4 -
Lol, broscience at it's best. There is NO SECRET to getting big. Progressive overload along with volume training, eating enough protein and calories (surplus) balanced with fat and carbs to support growth. That's pretty much it.

You won't be able to even on them. A calorie surplus will always yield some fat gains.1 -

You're right. I misspoke. When using steroids your TDEE is higher, so a surplus before them may end up maintenance on them with improved nutrient partitioning and result in more of a recomp. A true surplus would still result in fat gains.5 -

If you can't fix nutritious meals that taste good, it is because you suck at cooking.15 -
You need to lift HEAVY! I mean heavy!! Everyone on here is stronger than you think!! Lift Big....Eat Big and you have no option but to grow!! It isn't easy and sorry, but most people don't want to go past that comfort zone, because frankly it hurts.8

So is this the part where we start pounding on our chests and ripping our spaghetti string tank tops off while eating raw meat with our bare hands? Just want to make sure I time it right.16

Based on research, there's no benefit past .82g/lb and that's with a mark-up.

Keep reading the "research" or follow what every big guy has done? 1g of protein per pound is a MIN! In part because of the amount you need to eat.
