What would you pack if you were going on a 12 hour car trip?

    my fiance drives 12-14 hours every other week to come home.

    when he leaves, i usually pack a couple of 8" sandwiches/subs, tin of nuts or trail mix type thing, and a baggie of whatever treats i made for him that weekend (cookies, piece of cake, muffins, whatever). couple of cans of soda and a thermos of coffee. hell stop and get more drinks as he needs. pretty sure he stops and grabs a candy bar somewhere in there LOL

    if anything he needs to gain weight, so calories arent really an issue for him. but even if i was with him, id likely pack similar for myself. but im not really a 'car eater' so stopping and grabbing something around meal time is fine by me. hes just trying to save time and money lol
