Hi I'm Teresa just joined again after being gone for a couple of years. I'm ready to make a lifestyle change and be healthy. When you add your weight and weight loss goals does the app automatically update your daily calorie intake ?

It should be calibrated to your stats. I started at 220 pds and set my goal to lose 1.5 pd a week. Then the app gave me a goal of 2260. My TDEE is 3500 cal a day, it says thats what I would burn if I was in a coma. So yea I think it updates your intake. But after a significant drop in weight it would be wise to input your new lesser weight, then the app should recalibrate all the numbers. Im guessing. WB to MFP!0

Yes, I think that's howit works. For some reason, the last time I tried it after losing weight, it ADDED more calories so I think I did something wrong. Not sure if its best to change goals on the website or the app0
