Recovering Power Lifter - Moving on to General Fitness

Trying to loose 35 pounds fat and muscle to make weight of 210 pounds. So far, have lost 25 and have 10 or so more to go. While I'm now light enough to ride my carbon fibre bike, I want to be sure I'm light enough so I won't damage the bike frame. Planning to ride a century by September 2017. Is anyone else on a similar path?
