Mom's- help with diastasis recti?

I had my son 9 moths ago and have slowly started exercising just recently. I think I have some diastasis recti from this (my second) pregnancy. I want to work out but I'm noticing my belly pushing out (sort of pointy) when I do sit up, push up and planks. I know those are the work outs to avoid so I've stopped doing them but the exercises I have found online that I should do seem so easy that I don't feel like I'm doing anything at all. A heel raise? Feels like a waste of time. What helped you ladies best? I'm back to my pre-prego weight but I can't shift my mummy tummy.

Breakingmuscle.com has a diastasis recti series that has good reviews. Exercises can be easy and still useful.0
