Hi! Hope you don't mid if I tag along and jump into the group. I started MFP on a keto / sugar free diet on Monday 22nd. I haven't weighed in every day, but could add from now. I felt quite foggy headed on Tuesday / Wednesday, but today, I feel much better!

05/23:174.4 - started bright and early with TRX workout, healthy lunch packed and will get in a 3 mile run in tonight!
05/24: 175.2 - up but ok with that as I did 3 miles running and 2 walking yesterday. I also did not drink enough water. This morning already did 30 minutes on recumbent bike and I'm chugging water.
05/25: 173.2- WOW the water made a difference. I plan to get a 3mile run in tonight after work.
05/26 173.3- rest day today, maybe take the dog for a walk.

05/25 - 132.0 - Ate pretty well, just 20 calories over my limit. My fiance wanted to go for a walk so we walked 5km instead of me going for a run.
05/26 133.6 - went for the run! But was feeling pretty good about my progress so naturally I self-sabotaged with some chocolate-covered raisins and almonds and went right back up to 133.6 this morning. Gah the water weight. 05/24: 140...Went to a concert last night and ate crappy plus I didn't exercise. That's a recipe for a disappointment. I knew I was going to weigh in a little bit more this AM but I'm feeling a bit bummed out. Also feeling motivated to eat much healthier today though! When this semester is over with I know I will have much better control over my eating this weekend, once the semester is over.
05/25: 139...feels better. Came in under my calorie count yesterday and chugged water.
05/26: 138.6...Came in 200 over my calorie count yesterday because I went to a party and I didn't pay attention to what I was eating. I don't really have many excuses now that the semester is over and I did well. Oh wait, a family member is having a birthday party tomorrow! *facepalm*

05/25 180.6-- My car broke down and we ordered out-- Chinese food. I stayed within calorie limits so I'm sure that this is just water weight... I hope!! My menstrual cycle just started so that probably has something to do with it.
05/26 178.6 ughhh to period cravings. I played with my brothers (3 & 7) for an hour and fifteen minutes and it tired me out!! Instead of eating half a pizza, o ate a coconut popsicle to ease my cravings. I hope that this will pass and I will have a nice surprise on the first!

05/23: 204. I’m not expecting to lose weight quickly at this point, so I’m just trying to stay below maintenance every day and see what happens. I accomplished that today.
05/24: 204. I ate more calories than planned, but I attempted to make up for it by doing extra exercise. Not a bad day overall.
05/25: 203.5
05/26: 203.5. Ate below maintenance calories and had a good weight lifting session. I also worked outside for a few hours, so that should result in a large calorie deficit for today.

I'll give this a go. A little public accountability is not a bad thing at all. As it happens I do weigh myself every day (almost) and take measurements on Mondays. My scale is a digital one that logs to the half pound.
When I came back to MFP 7 weeks ago I weighed 300 lbs. I've weighed myself almost every day, taken measurements every Monday, and recorded my food & exercise every day. I'm also keeping track of days since I last had alcohol, since I know only too well that drinking (besides being empty calories) always leads to eating that has nothing to do with being hungry.

05/25 - 140.0 (weight training day yesterday. Nice surprising drop again this morning - although I suspect this is mostly water weight. I decided to concentrate on getting enough protein this week - something I'm not very good at usually. I've done really well so far, but, in order to keep within my calorie total, it's been at the expense of carbs - I read somewhere that 1g of carbs binds to 2g of water, so that'll be why the sudden drop in weight! (It does make you wonder what our 'bodyweight' actually ever is really?!) I've already had enough of tuna, chicken and eggs though - they're making me feel so full! And so thirsty! Not sure I'd be able to keep this up long term.
05/26 -139.2 (YAY! - finally broke through the 140 barrier! Really pleased with this. Determined to keep it up this weekend. Have a good one everyone)
05/27 -138.6 (weight lifting yesterday, going for a 10k run this morning, but have friends over for tea this evening so hoping to keep within my calories for today. I WILL BE GOOD THIS WEEKEND!

My knee is still giving me grief (*kitten*!) so I did some upper body work at the gym and then swam a whole kilometre! It's my third time in the pool in years so I was pretty chuffed - and knackered. Think the weight loss might be dehydration. No exercise planned today but lots of salad and protein and staying under the calorie goal of course Happy Fri-YAY everyone!

05/26 138.6 lbs was doing so well until the babies had a rough night due to the heat. Had three chocolate Brazil nuts. When I saw the calories I wished I hadn't. Will know for next time. I've been changing my eating habits and increasing exercise over the past 2 months and have dropped 21 lbs. However, just this month have I really gained focus and am efficiently losing weight. I monitor my calories on MFP and hit the treadmill every day after work with weights 3 days a week in the morning as well. I too am experimenting with intermittent fasting and am on a 16:8 schedule right now. I'm feeling great and the scale is showing it. Let's do this!

05/23: 313.0 - Expected a good drop from yesterday (1.5 lbs lost) and very pleased.
05/24: 310.6 - Hoped for another good loss and saw one! I stay tremendously hydrated throughout the day but realize some of this is water because of how much I'm sweating during my workouts. Either way, very pleased.
05/25: 309.8 - Thought I'd see more off after a good day of exercise and meeting my calorie goal, but anything down is in the right direction!
05/26: 308 - Down we go! I think I've just gotten so fat the weight wants to come off. Haha. Another day of safely under calorie goal with a good half hour of interval running. Tomorrow starts vacation, let's hope I can keep up losing!
05/27: 308 - No downwards progress even though I exercised a ton yesterday and stayed under my calorie goal. I think I had a little muscle growth though. I had a heavy lift yesterday morning and refueled with tons of protein yesterday. I'm feeling great though and still moving forward! 1 lb to go for my 10 day goal!

05/23 145.0. No workout today--ZZ Top concert tonight! Ate healthy during the day. Ate Five Guys little burger (bunless) and fries tonight. Total calories good but macros WAY off.
05/24 144.8 Long day. Tonight had to drive 5 hours for business meeting in am. Diet today was terrible--nuts, protein bar and a sugar free Monster drink No scale in hotel room for weigh in.
05/25 no weigh in today--out of town on business
05/26 143.8 No idea how that happened! I didn't eat that well but i guess all of that airport walking helped.
05/27 144.6 this makes more sense. No terrible eating, but no exercise either. Have had headache for two days--not excruciating, but keeps me from feeling like doing anything. I am motivated to get to my ten day goal!

05/27: 140...no surprise here. So let's just say I'm pretty famous for baking and my family always asks me to bring something to whatever gathering we go to. And I'm a big sampler of my dishes. I haven't eaten sweets in so long (because I'm literally addicted) that this morning I felt sick and a little bit hung over when I woke up.

This is so good for me mentally - knowing others are also working to reach goals and sharing about it - and physically - keeps me working towards getting in better shape. I'm starting at 150, my goal is to reach 148, or less, after the next 10 days. Here we go!
05/23 150 Have a Chia Seed pudding chilling in the fridge: 1/2 cup 2% milk, 1 c water, 1/3 c chia seeds, 1 scoop quest chocolate milkshake protein powder. Been seeing these sorts of concoctions for a while so thought I'd give it a go. Low cal, carbs and high protein. This amt should be good for 3 servings. Entertaining my sweet tooth.
05/24 149.2 Yeah!!! I've been hovering around 150 - 152 for a month and finally broke thru. Now to head to 148. At 71 years losing is more challenging for me then when I was younger - it is for all of us. Avoiding processed foods and sugar just makes me feel better and even if it takes 'til the end of the year to reach goal, so be it.
05/25 149.8 I will celebrate the fact I'm still under 150 and accept the elevator ride that seems to be my body's weight. Had some wine last night so maybe water? Worked with trainer yesterday, my last one for the package I bought, sob, but will continue on as I had my second knee replacement in Dec and need to have the muscles supporting legs/ hips, etc strong. Last night while falling asleep, I was thinking how long it has taken me, since late February, to lose 13 pounds. I'm only averaging a pound a week despite weight training 3x week, 6 days of cardio a week and keeping below goals for cals and carbs. Looked at that way it seems an awfully stingy loss rate. Then, I realized something. 2 more pounds and I'm at 50% of my weight loss goal. Yeah me! Perspective is so important.
05/26 149.6 45 min on ellip and way under on cals, a little on carbs. Feeling good in the body. Know what I mean? Feel stronger and lighter. Not so much gut. LOL Today is gym day. Have appts so may not get in ellip. We'll see. I wish everyone a successful day filled with self loving choices. One of mine? Egg whites with a tbsp of cheese for flavor. Maybe some hot sauce. Life is good.
05/27 150.2 Not bad considering I blew it on carbs yesterday. Nothing junky but someone gave me some honey mangoes - unbelievably good and then a hot dog with most of the bun. Confession is good for the soul. Weight training but got in no elliptical yesterday- too busy and tired from phlebotomy to reduce iron levels. Today, at least an hour on ellip is in my future as well as some pre-planning meals so I stay in range for carbs. Netflix has some exercise/dance, etc videos streaming. I might check those out.

05/25 No weight. On a short vacation so I didn’t get to post yesterday or weigh in this morning. No scale. I only weigh first thing in the morning because my weight seems to go up and down during the day.
05/26 245.4 My WOE is -1800 calories eating what I want. I will be lowering calorie count as I lose pounds. I want to do 1800 for at least three weeks. I have been told it takes three weeks to change a habit. I have tried most of the current diets and need to find what works for me. Thanks for listening.
