Help fighting birth control weight gain and bloat?

Anyone tried any programs or have any tips they used to shed birth control weight gain/ bloat? I normally have a small waist but since I started on the pill a few months ago it's gained inches, and I feel puffy all over- including my arms and legs. I've only gained 5 or so lbs and haven't changed my diet or activity level. Does anyone have any tips on supplements or lifestyle changes that worked for them? Also please add me if you want. I'm looking for support getting back to my old body!!

Maybe switch pills? That's never happened to me...I'm in my 40s and have been on/off the pill for more than half my life!

I'll second this. It did take a few months for me to adjust to the bc, but once I did, it actually assisted in me losing weight and inches. I'm a less common situation in that I went on bc for hormone regulation, not for actual birth control, so your mileage may vary.

It's probably just water weight and tissue swelling from the hormones. You may want to try to ride it out a while or change pills.

Agreed on switching pills. There are loads out there, with slightly different combinations of hormones, which people can react very differently too.
