Tips to stay motivated?

Now that I am 4 months postpartum, I *need* to start taking weight loss seriously. I am currently the heaviest I've ever been. As much as I know how important it is for me to lose weight, I still have a hard time staying on plan. I tried not tracking and just making healthy choices but it didn't work at all, so I am back to tracking.
So I'm curious - did anyone use a visual reminder to stay motivated or stay on plan? What was it? A picture taped to the fridge of your goal weight or of you at your heaviest? A bracelet system where every time you ate a serving of veggies, you moved one to the other arm? Or was it some other means of motivation?

I'm 18 months pp and just finally got committed to losing weight. I kept telling myself I needed to lose weight all this time but a few weeks ago I actually made the plunge to do something about it. I also tried just making healthier choices without tracking but it didn't work for me either. I think just seeing myself in the mirror, trying on pants and having my stomach squish over the top is what motivated me. I also make a point to come to the forums on here. It helps knowing other people are out there doing the same thing.
I've finally decided feeling good about my body and being comfortable in my skin is more important than snacking mindlessly on munchies and ice cream and whatever.0
