    Best feeling in the world was holding my daughter for the first time in the hospital. Can't even describe it in words. Beyond that probably just being a dad in general, hearing the kids yell "Daddy!" when I come home from work, stuff like that.

    I'll add that I love that 'runners high' feeling. I can only recall ever feeling that way twice so far but man, if you know what I'm talkin about its awesome.

    Watching my garden bloom every year.

    Walking in the countryside with my husband.

    Waking up in the morning and not being in too much pain.

    I booked a trip to Hawaii for two weeks. 6 Months ago. Leaving June 3rd. We have had so many turnovers and Plant Closures that everyone is doing more than they can handle. I have no back up for when I am gone. I schedule the Plant. They were supposed to get someone to train with me for a month and be my back up when I am gone. As of two weeks ago still had no back up and they were hinting that now might not be a good time to take two weeks off. I pulled my boss and the Site Manager aside and told them that I was leaving on vacation June 3rd or retiring June 2nd. Their choice. They got me someone to train the next day.

    There are so many...the first sip of coffee on a lazy weekend morning, a q-tip in my ear, when it was supposed to be just the tip but I get carried away, when on a hike and I first come over the crest of a mountain trail, my kid's hugs, my kid's accomplishments, the first bite of my favorite pizza, I could keep going.
