How to recover from suspected lactic acidosis

So first off, I acknowledge that I F'd up. I've been at work (oilfield) since March and just got some days off so I figured it's time to get on my bike and melt fat some more. (All while keeping gross calories under 1600/day)
Today was day 4 of consecutive pushing myself to the point of complete exhaustion because I can tell I'm slower than I was a few months ago and I'm in a hurry to get my lungs & stamina back.
Now I lay on the couch shivering drinking room temp 9.5pH water because I feel like I have the worst flu / body ache / nausea I've ever had.
I've pushed myself to the point of passing out, I know what that's like when blood pressure bottoms out after a sudden stop and then coming back around staring at the sky. This is worse. I'd give myself a dose of lead but the nightstand is in the bedroom and even that's too painful to think about getting up for.
Is there any remedy coupled with time/rest to get me back in the game asap?
I'm NEVER going to push this hard after a 3 month hiatus again.

Medical attention! You sound like you might benefit from some intravenous fluids. You also need bloods to check kidney function.
As first aid, drink a broad electrolyte replacement (dioralyte, etc) but get yourself to a hospital!0 -
Hopefully you've made a trip to the ER by now0

I finally fell asleep last night, woke up feeling BAAAAD.....called an M.D. buddy and he said take it easy today, sip on fluids, 2 waters per electrolyte replacement, and to take the day off....he said that a bag or two of IV fluids would have had me recovered almost immediately but to take today off.0
